Current Botany

The Current Botany is an International Journal for publication of original research in general and applied plant science. A broad outline of Current Botany's scope includes:

1] Ethnobotany, Systematics, Phytochemistry and Phyarmacognosy.

2] Conservation Biology and Biodiversity; Forest Biology and Management; Ecology and Evolution.

3] Biochemistry (including enzymology), Physiology, Cell Biology, Development, Genetics and Molecular Biology.

4] Mycology and Plant-Microbe Interactions, Pathology. 

In addition to articles of original research and short communications, the Journal contains Rapid Communications, and Special Papers, which include reviews, critiques and letters to the Editor.

The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality and originality of the research, its significance to the scientific community and interest to a wide audience.

The average decision time is three weeks from initial submission to acceptance. Manuscripts will post online as soon as the authors approve the final proof. Therefore, there will not be a delay period for accepted articles to be published online.
